My love of learning began early on with my pursuit to teach myself my first foreign language (German) when I was eight years old, and man, I was hooked! Discovering new words and making connections was like a thrill that never got old. My own learning has led me to many experiences in life that otherwise never would have happened and I believe that has made my life better.

Learning makes people’s lives better, and that is why I decided to be an instructional designer. Instructional Design allows me to help companies improve not only their culture and productivity, but it also allows me to continue to improve people’s lives. I believe that improving lives improves the world, and that is a worthwhile endeavor I am passionate about.

When I create learning experiences, I keep them learner-centered and always have the audience in mind. Using my knowledge of adult learning theories, I utilize techniques to foster knowledge retention and drive meaningful outcomes. Harnessing all of my skills allows me to create exceptional learning experiences that get results.
